Why The Core Store
Most of what you’ll find here is ours - designed, printed, and repped by The Core Store. You might see a few extra brands we vibe with, but at the end of the day, this is our lane - and we own it.
We don’t just sell clothing - we print it. Our in-house designs are made with intent: locally created, carefully selected, and printed right here in-store. It’s our way of keeping things hands-on, real and true to the community that built us.
We believe in keeping it local, doing it right, and creating what we’d wear ourselves. Our values guide everything. We're here for the long haul: to support local makers, minimise waste, and foster a community that's just as passionate about style as they're about substance.
About Us
From Studio to Wardrobe
The Core Store is the realization of a long-held dream by friends Grant and Mick, who have shared a deep connection with nature and the community for over 30 years. Grant, a Fine Arts graduate and sculptor, brings his artistic designs to life, while Mick leverages his extensive retail experience and passion for clothing. Together, they offer high-quality and original garments exclusively available at the Core Store locations and online.
